I literally just found out yesterday that we are getting a boy. When the breeder told me I almost cried.
We're leaving on Monday to go pick him up.

I can't believe I didn't know that. I know so many archaic words just from reading archaic literature...

(Have you ever read George MacDonald? OMG! He will absolutely change your life. Try Phantastes first. I still don't understand it, but it's gorgeous. Even better on audiobooks. Of his more realistic fiction I especially love those written in old Scotts. I know I'm weird, but it's fun for me, puzzling out what all the colloquisms mean. You can get them free for e-readers. I pay, though. The better formatting is worth the small prices.)

Anyway... yes. I also believed "thot" was nothing but a lazy spelling of thought.

Tuesday morning. It's a 16 hour round trip so we're getting a hotel for the night before. I can't drive for that long
