I'm making my list of what I will be ordering from Cackle Hatchery. I really wanted to support some local sellers but geesh not only does everyone have a slim selection they ask for so much for basic breeds. $5 per newly hatched chick, some even more (I'm sure that's normal, but still).

You know.. when we were guessing about the when will we get to X number of members... it seemed to FLY by so fast to get to that number. With this contest.. I swear it is dragging so slowly! I've been a witness to a super chatty thread. Lots of posts. I wake up and am 50-100 posts behind. (It's been a while but still! Ya'll just moved to a different thread! LOL! ) If you don't check in in a few days... omgosh! It's so difficult to catch up. And that is just 1 thread. Only 1! There are tons and tons of threads on this website. I am so confused. I may change my vote. I will decide tomorrow lol.

Local sellers lie sometimes.
You are much better off ordering from a major place, IMO.

You can do it...if you can keep up with the balluties you can keep up any where.

I feel like everyone keeps jumping to a million different threads lately. popping in and out of a bunch but never sticking to one place lol

True. Plus I'm kind of tired of traveling to pick up animals. We traveled 2 hrs one way to pick up our puppies a month ago and I'm still tired from that haha!! Well, mentally tired.

May order soon since I want them in July, but every time I wait the availability gets pushed back haha.

You may be able to order what you want by talking to the person in charge of ordering chicks at your farm store and save shipping cost/anxiety and small order charges. From what I've heard though, TSC isn't good at providing reliably identified breeds/sexes so I would go with some other store if you do want to try this.
