Oh we were going to order around 30. Is that a small order? I’m ordering keets from Cackle too.

I wanted to hatch my own eggs that I was thinking of buying but my husband is the one that makes the drives and he’s been making a lot lately and he’s kinda worn out and doesn’t wanna travel over an hour one way to get eggs 😂
No, 30 isn't a small order, but it has to be 30 LF chickens (well, 15 for the minimum to avoid the extra fee if I remember right). They only ship keets separately. Ditto ducks, geese, turkeys & bantams. So for each order of a different species/size class you pay a substantial (to me) shipping fee, plus you have to meet the minimum for that class of birds or pay more. Not saying I wouldn't order from them. They're a good resource and I've been very happy with them. I wouldn't try to discourage you from ordering from Cackle (aside from the fact that lately the post has been very unpredictable for many people here).

I've also been very happy with poultry special ordered from the feed stores and delighted as well, not to have the shipping charge and not to have to drive an hour to the post office and back at 0300. :lau It's just an option people often don't think about or maybe don't realize is available, but really more convenient for a lot of us.

I actually think @Kiki meant for midnight to be applied at the end of today--this presently occurring day (Friday 15, May)--rather than the beginning of today. So, 11:59:59 p.m. (2359 etc.) rather than 12:00 a.m. (2400/0000)--though technically I think those of y'all who say the deadline has passed are probably right. We must, I think, go with the intent. Most people think of midnight as belonging to the preceding day and the moment after midnight beginning the next.

I used to work midnights in a cardiac care unit and (on a good night) there's not much to do aside from pondering such things. :gig(in between castigating oneself for wishing something interesting would happen...:eek:)

You’re right!! ThTs definitely what she meant!! I think I’m just too literal and technical sometimes. 😂🤣🙈:oops:

@Kiki

I would like to change my guess of 5/16/2020 11pm to 5/27/2020 3:00AM. :fl
Final answer, no take backsies. :highfive:
You do have a few more hours to change it, if you want.

Who sent the rain my way?
