In truth you hardly notice it. I "lost" one (my first) in my sock once. About had a heart attack.
I was frantically looking for a turn-off to go back to the grocery store when I thought to check the other sock. 
And I didn't hit anyone or run off the road or anything. 
I could tell you but you might not survive it.... Why is there not a "yech" reaction?
I don't understand how the actors can go through the -- well, y'know... stuff, even if it's not actual... stuff, and it just looks like it.
