I make up my own recipes.

That is a better way to do it. I always forget to write them down though.

I make up recipes all the time. Except for meats and stuff -- that I just go by whatever sounds and smells good. Instinct!
Pretty much anything that has carbs in it I have to write down, though, because I need to calculate carbs.

Did you say what color eggs the roosters came out of?

I bought them from TSC a year ago so I don’t know. I was mostly concerned about the egg color of the hen. But I understand the offspring egg color will be determined by the rooster as well.

I will not be keeping the offspring so I won’t know the final color. But at least now I feel confident that even if the eggs are coming out lighter right now, that the olive color gene is there with the hens that have laid olive eggs in the past.

This year will be my last with Olive Eggers.

I am really good with all things meat, which is odd. I am just learning how to do vegan things. I made carrot dogs the other day. They are carrots that taste like hot dogs. Its odd but satisfying when you are at a BBQ and everyone is enjoying food you cant have.

The baked goods part is where it is really necessary to understand how the different ingredients interact with each other.

Hahaha no way could I read those things all the time!!! I was just curious once and even then I don’t even think I read it all. I think I skimmed it or went to an interesting part.

Also I even read the directions on those Scantron tests we used to have to do. I even filled in the bubble EXACTLY how we were supposed to and took my time making it dark lmao I actually read directions on all tests and quizzes actually and always read every single possible answer before choosing even if I think I know it
