Yes! That’s one of the few reasons they use Zulu time. I miss watching NCIS. I’ll have to watch it one of these days.

What's that?

It’s the UTC-GMT** timezone that military and other organizations use to ensure they are all on the same page instead of messing with adding and subtracting hours according to different time zones.

Military time is just the fancy 24 hr way so 2100 for 9pm
But that still goes by time zone.
But for other things, I forget what exactly, they use Zulu / UTC time zone to conduct business.

ETA: I think for pay related stuff but I’ll never know for sure cuz I forgot
