Thank you!! I just put him near the food and he was devouring it, for like 20 minutes 😂🤣 so now I feel really bad cause I think he just couldn’t get to it that easily :( but I fixed that problem. But I think that’s a good sign he at least has such a good appetite?
So, I don't know your nutrition regimen for the flock, what do you do for their water?

As I have run across stuff here, I have added stuff and set into a rotation of sorts... Everyone's water gets a splash of apple cider vinegar, a small tsp of minced garlic & when the temps stay above 50° I add ice. The rotations are the rooster booster liquid, hydro-hen & was there something else???? Anywho those are usually once a week on rotation.

I'll bet the Roo's diggin' the solo access to food & water now (smirks) the way you described it I can almost visualize it.

Are we a gluten for punishment?????

1) I haven't looked at the link yet.....
2) is there a timezones disclaimer that @Nifty-Chicken and You can -ermmm, did agree upon???? :gig
Read the rules.
I think we got it all covered this time.

I honestly don’t really do anything special to the water.

Usually just regular water.

I do sometimes put apple cider vinegar or NutriDrench in young chicks’ water though but not usually in adults.

That said though, I have actually been putting NutriDrench in his water for a couple days and the other day I gave him a NutriDrench soaked piece of bread so he’s been getting vitamins but getting worse. :(

But yes he is definitely loving the solo food access!! And the wait service!! Hahah

Having had the deal with Wry-neck in one of our silkie girls several months back, I know it's hard to watch them suffer/struggle..... I want to say that I was sooooo thankful from a comment someone shared "in the nick of time" for me.... I was not ready for any form of ceribral seperation. They shared a link to their thread detailing hot to safely put them to sleep with ethyr ..... Just like they used in WWII etc, I can recall my Gramps show us how to use ethyr to put bugs to sleep for specimen jars when I was growing up in the 70's....

Thank you! I have never heard of this before. I will have to look into it.
