Fancy Feathered Fellas Photo Contest​

We all know our handsome feathered fellas like to show off, strut their stuff, and make themselves loudly known. So why not fluff his ego and snap a few snazzy shots of him in action! Share your photos for a chance to win 1 of 5 (that's right, FIVE) BYC 2022 Calendars!

It's easy to enter, just reply to this thread & attach (upload) pictures of your domestic male fowl (chickens, turkeys, ducks, geese, peafowl guinea fowl, quail, pheasants, etc.)!

Rules:

• Four entries per member. An entry is *one* picture of your male poultry. One entry per post, please.
• Females are allowed in the photo, but the male must be the star of the photo.
• All domestic poultry allowed (chickens, turkeys, ducks, geese, peafowl guinea fowl, quail, pheasants, etc.).

Spoiler: More Rules

1. The picture needs to have been taken by you.
2. You cannot use a photo that won an award in another BYC sponsored contest.
3. No overly-edited or filtered images—basic editing such as cropping and other subtle changes are allowed.
4. Extra consideration for picture quality!
5. No people in the picture (no faces, fingers, hands, arms, etc.).
6. No screenshots, and no watermarks, date stamps, text, etc. on the picture.
7. ALL pictures MUST be uploaded to BYC and not hosted on other image sites, personal websites, etc.
8. Prizes are limited to one per person per contest.
9. Open to all BYC members.
10. All BYC rules apply: Terms of Service (Rules)
11. Entries will be accepted until November 30th at 11:59 PM Pacific Time.

There will be 5 winners and each will receive a copy of the beautiful BYC 2022 Calendar!​

Here’s our boy. For the sake of the contest we’ll call him “boyfriend” as his real name isn’t all that appropriate (it’s not real bad just a little tasteless). He is a two year old ayam cemani rooster at Native Colors Exotics in Wisconsin. He is a best of breed show champion several times over (that’s as high as they can go with the APA because they’re not an accepted breed yet). He is fairly well known in the area as he hops in his human’s truck and hits the town and follows in the bank, the Mobil station, the post office and even rides in the cart at TSC and Home Depot. Everyone knows him and is disappointed when he isn’t accompanying his human. He’s a pretty boy!

Here’s another one of my favorite feathered fellows- champ. He’s a three year old smooth serama rooster and a best of breed winner many times over from in-cage shows and table top champion.
