I love these pictures. When I first saw it, it looked like she was trying to brood another hen. How did they get along?

They got along great! They raised these chicks together for a time, but eventually the White Rock hen took over the duties full time and the BR bird went back to what she does best....eating and looking pretty. Not much good for anything else but brooding.
