Hey everyone, we decided to celebrate the new year with some new beginnings and what is better than a freshly baked batch of cute stuff? We would love to see your favourite broody hen, duck (or other poultry mom with her brood) pics and if your pic makes us go "Awwww" you can win a 2016 BYC Calendar!

Cilla's bubs were hatched during our wet season and after many days of rain and flooding she finally had the opportunity to take them out for some sun

The next picture is not an entry but just showing the flooding Cilla had to deal with. She is a wonderful mumma and kept her little ones safe but, as per the pic, it was tricky keeping them totally dry

This is Tina with her bubs .. sadly, when the bubs were only 7 or so weeks old, we lost Tina to illness
