Can't get my photos loaded. I'm sure it's not a camera or computer problem, it's simply user-error. Cannot figure out how to get pictures from my camera to the iMac. I'll try again tomorrow, once I've had a chance to freshen up my patience factor.

Do you have "photos" in the Mac? I just plug my camera to the mac and they come into photos automatically

Then select the one I want, drag it to desktop and upload.

There's an icon for Photos on the tool bar. But nothing happens automatically.

It's so frustrating...the first time (several days ago) I loaded all the pictures from my camera ok, they showed up, I posted a few. Now I can't find those on my computer and can't load the new ones.

I absolutely hate this kind of stuff, it just makes me feel dumb. I need my own personal IT help hot line.

Maybe I'll just plug in my old laptop and load my newer pictures on it for the time being.

i think the reeses cups were suppposed to be trees, and the black jelly bean is a duck lol



my husband did most of the cabin decor

thanks my daughter and husband had a ton of fun, i didnt really do any of it but the chickens

my daughter wanted it to look like our house (which it does not, at all)
my husband even tried to make a moose head with pretzels/chocolate

After much trial & tribulation, I think I got my photos downloaded from the camera to the computer. This isn't an entry since I'm a co-host, but it was a good exercise in how to load pictures on a newish computer, lol.

Here's the gingerbread barn!




Since we aren't going to be eating it, I used some craft glue to hold the structure together and the animals are plastic kids toys.

awesome!!! did it come with the candy?? i thought about using my daughters schleich toys too!
