As we built:

finished: cabin, barn and coop





i think the reeses cups were suppposed to be trees, and the black jelly bean is a duck lol



my husband did most of the cabin decor

After much trial & tribulation, I think I got my photos downloaded from the camera to the computer. This isn't an entry since I'm a co-host, but it was a good exercise in how to load pictures on a newish computer, lol.

Here's the gingerbread barn!




Since we aren't going to be eating it, I used some craft glue to hold the structure together and the animals are plastic kids toys.

We got a Christmas Tree last week and all he wants to do is sit under it.....will have to move it out to get him to work

Actually it is almost ready, but too little time to get it ready...still hope to post before the FINAL COUNTDOWN

There's something inviting to cats about Christmas trees. Mine love camping out under their's too.

With our turkey kit, we made egg white and powdered sugar icing and it sets up like cement.

Just beat egg whites until stiff and stir in powdered sugar until it is a thick paste, and put in a baggie. Snip off a tiny corner of the bag and you are good to go.

Can't wait to see the barn!

Oh, crud! (is that word a TOS no-no?) I read the part about beating the egg whites, the part about putting in the powdered sugar, the part about putting it in a baggie, and the part about snipping off a tiny corner. Somehow I missed the part about "until it is a thick paste." That explains a lot. <sigh>
