I can think of a few reasons but I will be nice this time.

We had a tree frog in our house and my husband accidentally injured it since it was hidden. I will see if it survives the night and if so I will go buy some live crickets. I can probably find some in my backyard but I’m not good at catching crickets. I’ve mastered catching grasshoppers though.

Disregard. Tree frog has gone to tree frog heaven. Guess the injury was too much. It makes me so sad when tree frogs think my house is safe. They need to stay outdoors!!
