The whole garden, about an acre, is fenced. The fencing is checked every so often.
I have large rocks under my shrubs to protect them from being dug up.
I’ve given up on ground level plants except heuchera which they don’t seem to touch (unlike hubby who mows over them)
Veggie bed is raised and in a cage, see photo, bit extreme but it works.
Getting another cage for the raspberries and gooseberries this spring so we can have some.
A gate stops them getting on the back terrace so we have a poop free zone.
Oh I also have a large un neutered dog which pees on everything which keeps away anything with any ounce of sense.
