My run is covered in mesh shade cloth. We have a dog kennel fence and we clip the shade cloth over it. We have this for shade, a safeguard against hawks, and making sure the chickens don’t escape! The best thing about the shade cloth is that its very portable so it works for our setup because we move the fence around and take it down in the winter.

Our run is covered with R-panel metal roofing. They typically free range with access to the run throughout the day, but If it’s raining it gives them a decent sized area that is covered and dry.

Do you mean covered as in a roof or does netting count? I'll assume "any covering" counts so I'd say covered. I have netting but sure wish I had a roof, I'd definitely consider that in the future!

Mine is netted over, 20x25 split in half, with deep litter.
Same: we have chicken wire covering but I wish a regular roof

I was asking a question of the person I quoted.
You were quoting me, and I have no idea what roof tubes are.
I used large heavy hose clamps to attach the metal corner pieces to the t-post.
Never mind, that was just what you called the metal corner pieces. Dah..... Sorry
