That makes a lot of sense!!! Goats seem like more fun to me with their personalities but also more trouble haha
Sheep can have personalities too! I have one who doesn’t trust us to pet her, one who likes to be pet just under the chin, and one who LOVES to be pet. She also gets them all hyper at night and hops around, they all follow her. It’s so funny to watch.

They sound amazing!! :love I did meet some sheep a few weeks ago that were super friendly. One kept getting closer and closer to me LOL

Yay! Some other members have sheep too!
What type of sheep do you members have? @FuzzyCritters, @Cturber, @Steph21

We have F1 Valais Blacknosed Sheep / Scottish Blackface. We are doing the breed up program to have pure Valais Blacknosed in US.

Here is one of the ewes.

Thank you. They are beautiful and calm (and so large). They're great on the milk stand. The Lamanchas are not as big (my doe Tatchie is an exception to that, she is very big) but the milk is creamier. I always disbud the babies when the horns are coming through. It's a personal choice with dairy animals that one works so closely with. I've had horns in my herd and they learn how to use them against their herd mates - and get their heads stuck in fences. As with everything, it depends on individual goats and their human caretakers ♥
100% correct! I didn't mean anything bad by that. Whatever works best for them and you is what will keep them happy and healthy and they look happy and healthy to me! I just like horns because it's sometimes is they way I get them to do things they don't want to ( shots, getting out of my garden... etc) I have 2 that are ......" free thinkers ". Haha
