There is just such a wide variety and they can be so much. Anything from very plain looking, skinny egg laying machines or fast growing, hulk like meat birds. To being so oddly feathered or so colorful, shiny and sleek. That people have to asked “is that a chicken” then give the am I getting played as a fool look. When you tell them yes it is.
 
We sold our home in the city and moved to the suburbs. Our home has many fruit trees and a large garden so hubby immediately wanted chickens. Then I got sick, things got delayed. Three operations later I'm still here so we got chickens. Started with 2, then added 2 more, then chicken math took over lol.They sure do eat bugs. We love the fresh eggs, my kids love to play with them and they are a form of therapy for me. They are my friends to hang out with and talk to.
