Hey everyone! I haven’t made the shepherds pie yet, reason being a been so busy with an elk hunt. I was able to get a tag at the last minute, so I’ve been very busy with hunting and tracking. I’ll get the shepherds pie done as soon as I can.

Will there be elk in your Shepard’s pie? The recipe probably doesn’t call for that, but it might be good. You might need to make two.

I do have a recipe for that, but it’s not the same recipe as the one for the contest.

#128 The Apple butter is great, I loved waking up to the apple aroma with spices.
4 lbs. unpeeled apples
2 tsp. cinnamon
3 c. sugar
1 tsp. ground cloves
2 c. apple juice
1/3 tsp. allspice
