Some of you have great quality photos! I'm curious if it's a phone or actual camera.

I use both my camera and my phone but my camera definitely takes much better pictures than my phone. lol, I don't have a fancy phone.

My second entry is about my amazing chicken, Lavender...again. She is my only current barred rock. I have had a few in the past, but I wanted to enter 3 submissions of lavender, because if I win the treats, I’m going to give them to her, because...technically...she won them! Lavender is a great chicken, and I hatched her at my house in an incubator. I am so glad I get to spend time with her, and she means the world to me.

Looking at your pics of Lavender- adorable chicken, by the way- I don't think she's a Barred Rock. She has a rose comb, so she's probably a Dominique

I just saw you could enter ANY barred chicken so here is my third entry:

This is Maddy. Maddy's dad is a Dominique mix and her mom is a buff brahma. Little Maddy is the most persistent sweetie! She is around six months old and just started squatting. She follows me everywhere and nibbles constantly at my pants trying to tell me, "Give me all the treats!" I am so happy she has feathered feet like her mom!

ENTRY #1:

This is my rooster, Orca. He’s a friendly guy, and he is protective of his hens. He’s a great rooster, and I love him so much. ((he’s pretty, too!!))

For my second entry, I have Stormy. He is a year old. He is a very proud rooster, but he’s really sweet. I love him a lot, and he means the world to me.

ENTRY #3:

For my third submission, I have Orca. (Again.) I don’t have any other pictures of my barred chickens, so I figured I’d just submit him again. He’s so pretty!!

This is little mozzarella! (I like to call her mozzy though) she is a very nice bird, although her and her sister don't really like to be picked up. She is a true forager at heart and loves to be let out every day!

This is cheddar, Mozzarella's sister. (also foraging) small fun fact about Cheddar and Mozzy- they were the first of the chicks getting integrated who started to roost- and the first ones to get to the high roost too!
