here is a little okay well maybe a big update on my chick...


since she was the only one to hatch i needed to get her some friends, so i went up to my regular egg supplyer to get some eggs i can hatch out for friends for her. Well this is what i ended up comming back with:

dont know if you could see it or not but it is under the feather duster

so yes i ended up comming how with 2 chicks, and they are older then my chick but ti worked out as they are bantams so they are the same size lol, but remember how i said i was going up to get eggs well....... i also came back with this

and this incubator is not mine it is hers, she let me borrow it and is leting me have all the eggs inside of it, 30 eggs lol. She just said " just take the whole thing, they will stay warmer that way." it has the egg temp thermometer, it has a fan and it is the 1588, i have the cheap 1602n bator so this was a step up from mine lol, and the best part is these eggs have been incubating since before i got them (on saturday) and now they are due Friday, tuesday is lockdown a.k.a tomorrow

I just sent 22 to a new home today. The chicks in the bator have a home to go to when they hatch. I'm gonna put the bator up for a while after all this. Well, unless the frizzle or Onagadori lay any eggs. It being so cold I don't think they will be any good anyway.

I just realized I never posted pics of my hatch! Here they are! Silkies, silkie mixes, porcelain d'uccles, and nontufted araucanas.

I think I'm done for a while!
