I don't want to be rehabilitated.

Maybe the thread should be Hatcher Unanimous, since clearly none of us are ready to admit we have a problem or want to quit?

No more trades? But trades are why I'm doing egg math!!!

Oh, I'm clear that I have a problem. I'm just thrilled with it! (My husband? Not so much. Or so he would like me to believe. Maybe I shouldn't tell him about the Maran eggs that will be here in 2 weeks. Muahahahahaha!)

I always say I am "testing" for a friend.

Argue that, Mr. "Igottagoplaycardsatafriendshousebecausetheyareshortoneguy".

I've got to take about 12 roos, 5 pure bred wheaten Ameraucanas, 4 FBCMs and 1 GPC X SF and take them to a farm in Mesa today.

Otherwise when the eggs start arriving on April 2nd, I'd have to find a new home.....

Oh... and that's my excuse... I'm testing... and none of you AZ folks tell me wife!

I am also currently a hatchaholic....I even hatched through the winter. I have only bought one set of chicken eggs this year and also one set of duck eggs ( they were a real bargain at $3 a dozen though, does it still have to count? ). I am mainly hatching my own eggs because I am going broke on feed and yet I can't stop hatching. I called this morning about 2 slightly used bators on craigslist - I figure I'll use them as hatchers. My hubby doesn't care what we hatch as long as I can eat it, or it will lay eggs to eat - he's not helping..... I also have no intentions of stopping, just admitting I have an addiction.........

I wouldn't mind finding a way to curb my hatching addiction just a little bit.

In just over a week, I'm going to be overrun with chicks. Maybe that will slow me down.

Seems like when I started to feel spring in the air, I started the need to hatch. I have 3 incubators running. One with chicken and turkey eggs in a turner, one for hand-turned chicken eggs, and one for waterfowl. What I'm in need of now is a hatcher incubator.

Oh, AND I have a broody hen at work on 11 eggs.
