Czech's_chicks :
I have all the seeds sorted and they are in their respective to-go envelopes.
Quick question...if you sent in a certain type of seed and someone else sent it in, as well..do you want "it" back? I can send you an additional seed back from my own stash.
I will let you know who you are so you have the option of saying yes or no.
Dena - one of the seeds you sent in the okra bag was also sent in by another - those back or a different surprise seed?
Dawn - the 'citrus' type of seed (wink-wink) was sent in by someone else, as well - those back or a different surprise seed?
Claira - the edible variety you sent was also sent in by another - those back or a different surprise seed?
Carol - one of the edible varieties you sent was also sent in by another - those back or a different surprise seed?
Also, some of the seeds were really little - and I mean little, I think I counted and divided as well as possible under those strenuous circumstances. All I can say is THANK YOU to Dawn who separated the absolute tiniest seeds in this whole exchange. Some of you may have received my hair back, as well, because I would have pulled it out counting those
My children really had a blast with this social experiment. My son is now drawing a diagram of the yard and is going to draw all the plants and where these new ones should go.
Carol, you sent an extra packet of one of your seeds so I am going to pass those along to the first person who can answer this riddle:
I am used as a source of sugar.
I am dual purpose and my leaves and roots are both edible.
I am a source of dye.
I can be pickled.
What am I?
My daughter is typing up everyone's notes on the seeds and to make the packages lighter, I can email or PM that info to you, or include it in the package - your choice.
THANK YOU to everyone who participated. This was really fun and interesting. Thank you for all the time you spent preparing everything for everyone else and time it took. I'm glad this all worked out.
Sugar Beets?
Edited to say: Please surprise me! We collect Okra yearly and have it in abundance. (UNLESS you have an odd color okra)
