officially worst week ever **update: turning into the best week ever**

Keep a trap set 24/7. I have been catching coons and possums all summer long,and I had no idea there were ANY around me! Sorry for your loss.

I caught a 2nd raccoon today! So I am setting the trap again tonight.

The 2nd one was 2x as big as the first.

Wow! So many critters, so little time, eh?? I know if there's one, there's a bunch..We say a dead coon on the small highway not far from here...My first thought was...Well, one less coon to go after my girls!

there will always be coons. You could kill the whole family, and a new one will move in. I know this for a fact. I can't tell you how many coons my dog has treed. Unfortunately, that means I have to grab the .22 and a flashlight, and walk out to where the stupid coon and my dog is at. I'm sure you know what comes next. I've even had him tree a whole family in the front yard one time, and that was kind of sad.

Well this week I trapped 3 raccoons and one possum. So trap will be staying up and I actually purchased one other chicken and haven't had any more losses.
