Oh, boy! I'm in trouble now!

One of my geese hatched three babies last week, and a few days earlier five hatched in my little incubator. Now two geese and two ducks are due any day. My husband said, "At least you don't have chickens on the way!" How could I tell him that two of my little bantam hens were sharing a nest on top of a pile of eggs that seemed to grow right before my eyes. I knew they were developing and didn't have the heart to throw them out. Yesterday, ten tiny little chicks hatched with about ten more to go! I'll try to post a photo tonight.

When I have broodies in with the flock, I mark all the eggs so I can remove volunteers to prevent staggered hatching which usually results in abandoned growing embryos.
