So Silly Goose our Irma recue egg is growing with lightning speed. Got new feathers on his tail and underwings. They are all dark almost black, it has sort of a diamond shaped white splotch of fine feathers coming up under the yellow fuzz on his neck that it keeps pulling out, it likes it when I tug on them too! It's getting tall very quickly,and at four1/2weeks has mastered underwater swimming, and the art of minnow fishing in the plastic kiddie pool. It's feet have gone from yellow with dark trim to like a pasty grey with dark trim and I see gray and white like threaded feathers o. It's belly, he eats like a horse and runs like a cheetah! Lol (pause for the two legged chettah visual in your head) anyway, can anybody tell me what to look for besides the carnaples or whatever that may grow around its bill, to tell if it's male or female, I wasn't crazy about the sexing tutorial, so I opted out. It seams to be saying g Cheap Cheap Cheap when he's looking for me, but , I don't take it personal, when it is calm and chilling it has a low actave but hi range shrilly coo if you will, it's very pleasant. It rides on my golf cart with me , and I enjoy watching g it learn it's balancing skill over bumps and such. Its very very smart , and seams to have been born ready to master all the right skills all on his own and amazes us everyday, our two dogs just want to lick him, and our kitten what's to play with it, but it's not interested it runs away at lightning speed to u der my feet or bows up and gives a hard pecking motion " as if to say "What....What"????? Lol any thoughts........on his gender???
