I four eggs from my game hen that I put in the bator on 7/7. Well, yesterday, I was given 8 Black Silkie eggs. The woman who gave them to me was unsure on hatch dates. She gave them to me from under her hens. She said I should have one hatch about every day or two. I have one pipping right now, and all of the others have large dark masses in them. My game eggs were doing fine as of candling on day 7. One seemed clear, but I am going to wait until day 10 before I get rid of it. The Black Silkie eggs all have dark masses in them. I only have one bator (that I made myself) and hope it all works out ok, where I am not sure to keep humidity at 50% or 70%.
Like I said, this should be fun.....lol
