Are they ever! My bator was sitting on our kitchen table and I just had to peek at the 1 day olds when I noticed there were only 3. I could not find the 4th and my durned cat just wouldn't move out of my way so I could look. LOL!! Well, it's because she'd found it and was trying to figure out what it was. Listen to your animals, they tell you more than you might realize Don't worry it was/is fine. But, I never even saw it. At all. No idea how that happened.

Exactly. And make the roads dangerous. That black ice is serious.

Oh wow! my incubator was on a nightstand and when I was moving them to the brooder I dropped one or two and was so scared but they were fine thankfully but I’ve decided if I ever hatch again (which I’m not), I’m putting the incubator down on the floor.

IF that's the reason you are not hatching again. I highly recommend setting some eggs in it right now. Honest. When they start to hatch, what I plan on doing anyway, is to move the bator into the brooder. I just bought a 200qt clear tub with lid at Wally world for about $20. High sides will prevent any escapees. I have other ideas for a brooder that I've mentioned on here before, but for right now, this tub fits into my budget and will make the perfect storage for when I'm not hatching

Yup. She wiggles around on the ground, though she sometimes leaves a trail of piddle when shes excited
