Yes true although ours are commercial and harvested every year.

But basically it’s just a bog with sandy/peaty type soil and ditches and they flood them with water every year to harvest them.

The commercial ones here are flooded low land where they can drain the water at will. It’s the same places they grow wild rice commercially.

That’s awesome!! I’m glad you were able to find some!! I am curious now if ours has other kinds of lamb! cause when I went I only saw ground lamb but then I didn’t really look around. Will have to go check sometime though of course won’t need to for a while now. I also have no clue what to do with ground lamb I just know I love bison burgers in the same little 1 LB package so figured I could do the same with the lamb but I’m thinking lamb burgers might be nasty.
