My chicken babies are 3 weeks and this one’s comb is a little on the big side. Should I be worried? I’m trying not to jump to conclusions, because I have a female hen with a comb as big as a roosters lol! It’s just if this is a roo, I need to rehome him so he can live the life he’s meant to. 😢

This one is a completely different chick but I think I’m just being paranoid with this one, it’s just slightly bigger than the other chicks combs.

Posting all my other chicks combs because why not? This is Murphy

Esther is a girl. I am basing my belief on color, not combs.
In barred chickens, males have what is called double barring. That means they have two white bars in each feather to every black one, causing them to appear more grey than black.

Honestly I don’t know what the heck is going on anymore 🤣 I was told these were Easter egger pullets. The owners of the shop said they came in darker this year. I won’t really start panicking until I see some crowing haha.

Probably best. Ignore me, I'm no pro. It all depends on what breeds were used to create these EEs.

Oh! Another user suggested these might be blue cuckoo marans? As long as these are pullets idc I just want these chicken babies to keep their home 🥺 the place I got them from usually are reliable… I stopped buying from tractor supply bc I kept getting burned 😅 love their store though
