On my way to town now. The glass will be $95 with tax and installation will be $10-$20. I am having them install it so the seal will be put back on correctly. If all goes well, I should have it back home by the time my friend shows up to help with the coop, which will coincide with nap time for my little boys.

Well, I'm back from town now. The window plus installation was $107. That's an expensive lesson learned.

Buster, I just wanted to say, we have all done things like that before so I can not give you a hard time. You are not alone. I know that feeling, "WHY IN THE HECK DID I PUSH SOO HARD".

I sympathize with you Buster.

I found out the hard way that our SUV will hold a 2x4 that is 9 feet 11 and one half inches long and not a bit more.

It came clear to me when I shut the back and "pop" went the windshield.

I hate to think how many windows we would have broken over the years if our stove door wasn't all metal!

Ok, here is the $107 piece of glass- it's all put back together and I've been burning a fire in it all afternoon.
