I have a frizzle sitting on two chicken eggs and a duck egg and I have 3 ducks sitting on duck and chicken eggs. Talk about whos your momma.

When I had ducks and chicks mixed together last year, it was so cute because the ducks thought they were chickens. Your post made me laugh ; )

Never thought of that. Hopefully they will swap after they hatch.

I had a silkie hatch out a Silver appleyard duck last year. So he would not be alone, i bought a couple of chicks at the feed store. My little silkie mama was too cute taking care of them. The appleyard got huge fast and she would still try to cover them and mother them. He was pitiful when we moved them out to the run and coop. He could not climb up the ramp to be with his mama. So I put him up there in the small silkie coop until he could not fit,lol.
