Oh #$%@ I forgot to defrost the turkey

I'm just wondering how big these dang birds are that won't fit in the kitchen sink!!! Those are some big Azz birds!!

if it's anything like my TG bird, it's big.
TG bird was 41.4 lbs. and x-mas one is 39.4 lbs.

and no it did not fit in the kitchen sink

Is that a broad breasted turkey? I assume you raised it.

yes, a BBB 7 months old, should've processed 2 months earlier at this size

You can cook a frozen turkey. Go to the Food and Drug Administration page and they will tell you how to safely defrost and cook a turkey. I was surprised when they said a frozen turkey could be cooked. They don't recommend sitting it in water which is what I always did. I put mine in a big cooler.
