If this is the 'purple foil wrapper' ham, then yes. It's "Sam's Choice Spiral Sliced Hardwood Smoked Ham (with natural juices) Fully Cooked, Glaze Packet Included"

I should have saved the homeraised hams for the holidays, they were FANTASTIC. This little 10.5 lber is for brunch on the 26th.

You call that a dirty fridge??? That's immaculate!

Only 2 of us, so I got 2 little 10 lb. Smithfield Smoked Hams- one butt portion, one shank. Can't decide which to cook and which to freeze! Not spiral sliced this year, ought to be interesting, since I slice, DH hacks!

Merry Christmas to All!
(and some ham for poor little Nugget????)

Same here!

A holiday tradition is everyone standing around pulling pieces off and eating them right them. The family joke is that you can't stop until you even it out...

It's spiral sliced. Get it?

LOL! My fridge looks bare! I made that turkey for Yule because it was cheap and we'll be eating it all week. Roasted breast meat, roasted legs, salads, turkey sandwiches, pulled meat mixed into pasta or rice... Tight week $ wise, since DH gets auto deposit on Wednesday and the bank isn't open until Friday. Hence trying to stretch food a while.

Actually, I've got a weird cleaning OCD. I haven't wiped that fridge down in a week... and now that I'm thinking about how gross it is, I'll clean it today when I'm finished baking cookies and bread.

Shellie, don't forget to roast those turkey bones and then throw them into your crock pot with celery, onion and carrots and fill with water to the top! Slow cook for 24 hours (per Miss Prissy) and you will have awesome turkey stock to put up or freeze!! We have had two turkey dinners, another one tomorrow, at friends homes and it was all I could do to keep from begging for the carcass to roast those bones.

They weren't the type of folks who were into that so I didn't ask.

We always look for the "purple hams"--they are the BEST!!!
& then put the bone in a crockpot with some red & pinto beans & seasonings & cook that all day long--yummy!!!

Ah yes, turkey frame soup!

Sterling, could you and your little OCD come down south for oh, say, 2-3 weeks? I'll feed ya, if you dare to eat it out of my kitchen!

I haven't seen the inside of my fridge in 2 YEARS! Not since I had to quit keeping mealworms in there, next to the eggs........... OMG, what a confession, must be good for my soul.

I am awed and inspired, tomorrow is find the fridge day. Believe it or not, I cook every day and no one has gotten hurt!

Yet.
