Oh man... I think I just got a virus on our new computer!

I was playing Farmtown on Facebook, and someone in the marketplace kept begging. I clicked on him to ignore him, and my computer said it got many viruses. What do I do??? I thought our computer had McAfee installed but apparently not.

It said I have like 356 Trojans. Someone did warn me about someone on Facebook but it wasn't the same person. I dont think I'll ever hire or talk to someone who isnt my buddy or neighbor from now on.

If it's mail, don't believe it. Check your virus scan on your desktop.

i have gotten spam that looks like a message from my computer. only i have a mac and the spam looked like a windows message.

It's a fake virus. Had this happen on both of my laptops. Said there were e-mail worms and I hadn't even opened any e-mails on the 1 laptop. I think they are trying to get you to download their antivirus ware. We have Norton and also use Ad-aware programs. The trojans it said we were infected with didn't exist. I think it was related to being on Facebook as well.

it's malware or trojan. do not click on those dialog boxes. download 'malwarebytes'
adaware and spybot. all free programs.
