OH MY...Chicken or duck egg..HUGE!

My leghorn eggs look like duck eggs, so it's hard to say. Both leghorns and pekins lay white-white eggs, though duck eggs are more translucent. You can 'see' the yolk from the outside of the egg in a pekin egg.
The film also says duck egg, that is how they are supposed to be. So looks like your duck is laying, congrats

YAY....FINALLY....100% verification!!!!! Went to feed this morning....pretty satin to the touch egg outside in the dog house thats converted into Lucy's nest box...and my Leghorn inside the coop in a nesting box! Found out that she (the Leghorn) has NOT been laying all this time apparently...its been Lucy who was inside the coop, inside that nesting box that I would have sworn was just too small for her to get her big duck butt into! I would have LOVED to seen her squeeze in there and move around to lay those first eggs in there! I'm glad she opted for her nesting spot I made outside for her finally! I knew those eggs were different when I cracked them open, but having those nesting boxes inside so small (or so I thought) for a Pekin to fit into just had me so confused!!!!!!!!!! Apparently I should have named her Mouse...she can squeeze into tight places! I see a new nickname here for her! Looking at the eggs close today there really is a diff in the shells too. Thanks SO much guys! I just love this site....I dont know what I'd do with out it!

Do you think your girl is getting her clutch of eggs together before she decides to set on them? That is what my muscovy ducks do. They lay eggs for about 3 weeks and when they have enough and they are ready to set on eggs, that is what they do. I don't remove the eggs because I know their behavior and I know that they will begin to set. It's like clockwork. Always a 100% hatch rate. If you take her eggs, she may not sit because she won't have enough eggs.

Would this be her first eggs? What's her story?

Yes these are her very first eggs. Should I leave them to see if she sits on them? I hear that Pekins are bad at sitting until they are around two..but I do notice that she ALWAYS comes to see what I've done to the nest when I go get the eggs or add wood shavings or even walk by it, LeRoy her mate does the same thing....whats your suggestion? And if I do leave them, about how long should I leave them there before I see she is NOT going to sit on the eggs? I've taken about 8 eggs now from her. Too late? Oh goodness I hope not!

Well, being as though I have no experience with Pekins, I really can't give you any advice . My experience is only with Muscovy Ducks. Maybe some Pekin experts can chime in and let us know.
