OH MY GOSH SHE STINKS!

UGH! I just let my GSD in from outside. She was only out for about 10 mins and she smells SO bad.
She hasnt been rolling in anything..Its like a dog 'sweat' smell.
I had to kick her out of the room

I heard this could be food related.

Mine rolled around in the compost pile. Straw that has been peed on by goats and goat poop. YUM!!!

oops...i read food as feet...oh well.

well do her feet smell? or is it her ears?

if something smells not right, there's probably something going on that needs to be treated but first you have to know for sure... where it is coming from?

my dog has had ear probs that smelled like dead fish... it was wretched...she had to get some ear drops at the vet.

feet? i dunno. make sure they aren't cracked and infected, I guess.

Sorry I had to leave last min yesterday...

No its only when she comes in from outside and its really hot outside. Its not her ears or feet.
It seems like it comes off her coat or skin.

Check for a wound under her fur. My GSD had a punture wound on his back that no one saw until started to smell. It was becoming infected. We shaved the hair around the area he had his wound. Cleaned out the wound, and kept it clean. The smell went away after that.

Good life.
Its not a constant smell. Only maybe 15 to 30 mins after she comes in.

No wounds.

She's has to have found something that she thinks smells great, and is rolling it

What smells bad to us, smells good to a dog sometimes.
