I went down and checked on my hen and she is doing well this morning...I am going to cook up some eggs for her and some veggies and see if she would like a treat...Her combs and wattles are bright red and she is a little testy this morning...Gave me a small peck when I reached in to pick her up...I am sure she is hurting, or at least I would be!

I checked her wounds and they look good, still quite a bit of Neosporin on them..The Neosporin does not want to stick to the big open hole as well and I am a little apprehensive to fill that cavity with it...Not sure where all that hole leads to...

...I also think I will need to trim some of her feathers because they are wanting to stick to the wounds...Boy she really could use a bath!

Ok I went to check on her tonight and she was sitting on an egg!...Amazing!...I am having a difficult time getting neosporin to stick to the large open hole...Any suggestions to what else I can use on it? I did start Penicillin...Will that be enough?
