OH my incubator problems........HELP!!

This is my first post please forgive me if this as already been posted.............Ok here is whats going on....We put our eggs in out incubator last Saturday and everything has been going fine........but thanks to Hurricane Issac our power went out for 3 hours.......power back on and all good (this was Friday)........I just went to my incubator and it was on 110 degrees!!!!!!!!!! are my eggs no good now???????? I opened it up and cooled it back down to 99.5 but I am thinking they are no good now! PLEASE HELP! What do I do??

Just leave them in and see what happens. You don't know how long it was at 110. Give them a shot.

yeah, if you check you bator often, then maybe it was only that high briefly. It is the internal egg temp that I pay attention to. I have a glass thermometer in a cup of water that I check when the bator starts going up or down.

just check the eggs in a few days to see if they are still viable. good luck on your hatch and WELCOME!!!!!!!!

Thanks. I candled them and found out wich ones were good but I did not see movement, should I see movement at day 7?

I can usually see definate movement by day 10, so give them a couple more days and then candle again for the results.
