Hello, I live in Northern Virginia. I bought two ducks, a mallard male and a female pekin at Tractor supply in a moment of insanity, ha, ha. Really. Anyway, I would like to give my duck babies to someone who maybe has other ducks and a pond where they will be happier. They have a good life here, free range during the day and inside in the evening and are totally spoiled. I believe them to be very healthy and maybe a bit overweight. The male mallard has just obtained all his colors and the female pekin is beautiful too. The ducks are about 4 months old. I have not seen any eggs from the female yet. The ducks are totally bonded to each other and mate frequently so from what I have read the eggs may come along at anytime.
If anyone is interested, contact me here for more info. I wouldn't want to give the ducks to someone that has an intention of eating the ducks, just for pets or for the female's eggs. Thanks!!
