Oh no....could this be a roo? *Panicking*

Still looks like a pullet. Comb is tiny and no hint of color.
Thank goodness!
I think it's her stance that has me worried the most. She always stands up tall, chest out....she is the protector. But she has always been like this since 48 hours old, always seem to take care of and look out for the others (especially before one of my chicks died). So maybe that's just her personality!

Will keep updating.
Thanks so much Keesmom! :)

How does she look now? Yes, I"m thinking pullet from that last set of pics you posted. All my Australorps were DEFINITELY boys by 3 weeks. Large and RED combs.

Heya! Sorry it's taken so long to reply! I actually sent both their feathers away to be tested, I should know in 4 days or so!
That is good to hear you think she is a hen! I will post some photos I took yesterday in a bit!

Ok here is a video I took yesterday:)

Well, my instinct was correct. Audrey is in fact, an ANDRE! Got the DNA test results back just a bit ago. I have no idea what to do now, but some options are there. People have told me there is no way the male personality comes out as young as 48 hours, but I will tell you....it MUST! Andre was acting like the other babies protector 48 hours from hatch! Soooo....

Now I have to figure things out. I am so attached and the are so bonded. Will ask my neighbours what they think and while they go to a chicken sitter while I am in Toronto, we can find out how much he crows. I'd love to keep a rooster as a flock protector (and hatch eggs!) but....yeah....

We'll see what transpires!
Thanks everyone for writing!
