I stupidly tried to candle a couple of my quail eggs. I should know better by now, they're just too fragile.

When I was moving them, I collided one button quail egg with another and dented both. I have tried a repair with neosporin and waterproof surgical tape, but I have my doubts. They are due to hatch around July 30th.

The good news is, I candled 5 of the Coturnix eggs as well, and 5 of 5 are developing and alive at this point.

Try dripping wax on the crack or nail varnish i've also heard wood glue can be used not sure if tape will hold properly they still have a chance though. I had the same problem with a button egg last week its still holding out with wax on it they're so delicate. Good luck with them

I think Neosporin is kinda toxic... you might look that up....
