Oh no I lost my paper on when these were due to hatch

Okay I will try to keep it together but I make no promises. Lol I have been up and down the stairs about a hundred times just to look in. I will let you know when I have babies.

I do the exact same thing, I'll just stop in the middle of whatever I'm doing so I can go peak at the eggs!

That is a good idea Zaz! I get so nervous during the hatch. I always think about if they are taking too long or what if I have to help one out, etc.

I hope they hatch quickly for you so that you will no longer have to worry about them.

Me too, and I wish you the same. I read where yours is pecking. Where you got them do you think that effected the early hatch?

It is too early for it to be hatching because when I candled the air cell I don't see the chick poking into it and the air cell isn't big yet. I have no idea why it wants to peck so early but it worries me. I normally hear this much pecking during hatch time. Not on day 19-20.

Doug of DM Farm send the egg to me and I started incubating it last month on the 17th (the day the egg arrived).

At first I thought it was pecking in reply to me, but then I noticed if I walk in there and am completely silent sometimes it pecks. I am about to go check on it again.

Edit: Loud pecks now. I can see the egg move very faintly not really shaking like what I see during the hatch. I was going to turn the egg but now I am not sure if I should mess with it. When I can get someone to help me I will try candling it to see if anything is different.

One is coming through on the little end, do I let him/her keep going for a while? Neither one are out but they are talking and pushing against the egg.

As long as it seems to be making progress I would let it keep going, if it seems to stall out you will probably have to help it.
