Ok, well I need to give DH a reason why I am hatching more.

Awww Sara, they are so cute. The white ones it can be hard to see the tufts if they are small ones, so there is still hope. If you check where the ear hole is, the tufts usually stick out from around that area and often cover the hole of the ear when they are thick. Sometimes they blend right into the neck fuzz. If not, I'm sure I can get you a tufty white to go with them if you want to work on whites.

Thanks Jody! I have no idea if I want to work on whites or not. My problem is I want to work on everything. I NEED more coops! DH thinks I am loosing it.

I don't think the one of mine who has tufts had them sticking out the first few days....at least not enough that I noticed. The next time I'll know what to look for.

Yippy! I have a buff orp baby! It's the ony one I put in the bator. Please think pullet thoughts. It's never happened for me so far

Today my very FIRST black ameraucana baby hatched from my Ameraucanas.!! So very excited!

I have 3 more ameraucana eggs to go over the next week or so, then I am done until we get our electrical service redone.

The good news, I think the buff orp hen that was laying has gone broody! Now I'll just pack her full of eggs
