Oh dear. Today I went to the farmer's market and saw some old friends who raise rabbits for meat. We got to talking and they told me about a poultry trading group for our area. I'm envisioning endless quantities of chicken and duck hatching eggs. I see my hobby expanding in so many directions. I already drive by "eggs for sale" signs and start salivating, thinking of all the different breeds I could accumulate just by hatching $2.50 a dozen farmer's eggs. What will I do if someone offers to trade Welsummers for Indian Runner eggs? Or Ameraucana eggs for magpies? And heaven's sake, what will I do at the next swap meet with dozens of gorgeous eggs ranged out on tables before me????
