So I got 25 meaties from another farmer, they are 4 weeks old and the 2nd day I had them, they ran out of water. I don't know for how long. But is it going to hurt them? Will that make the meat tough or anything?

They'll be alright, but as they get bigger, they'll be consuming a lot of water. This year, our 30 cornish x were going through close to 6 - 7 gallons a day. Each day the tractor was moved, so they had fresh "greens" to eat. The majority of the water was consumed when they had their food.

hahaha,,,, sorry,, but its always a worth ta try,,, and i think free birds taste so MUCH better then ones ya buy [IMG]
and i think bout the only thing you could do to make them tough,, is beat them with a broom every day,, or make them do alot of running. if it gets to that point,, jus call me,, i'll come get em lol [IMG]
