Oh NO, they ran out of water.

So I got 25 meaties from another farmer, they are 4 weeks old and the 2nd day I had them, they ran out of water. I don't know for how long. But is it going to hurt them? Will that make the meat tough or anything?

no...you're fine. you don't want them to run out in future though. the meaties will go through TONS of water.

They'll be alright, but as they get bigger, they'll be consuming a lot of water. This year, our 30 cornish x were going through close to 6 - 7 gallons a day. Each day the tractor was moved, so they had fresh "greens" to eat. The majority of the water was consumed when they had their food.

hahaha,,,, sorry,, but its always a worth ta try,,, and i think free birds taste so MUCH better then ones ya buy

and i think bout the only thing you could do to make them tough,, is beat them with a broom every day,, or make them do alot of running. if it gets to that point,, jus call me,, i'll come get em lol
