I just hatched quail eggs for the first time! Talk about little eggs! Big or small so long as you are vigilant they should be fine. Sometimes chicks just aren't strong enough to make it to hatching. Just be emotionally prepared for that. Keep me updated!

I will. These are all moving around and dancing in their shells with what room they have left. I just candled the D'Uccles for the last time (I won't turn them anymore after tonight) and they are right up to the air cell and the rest of the egg is completely dark. I think I will let them go one more day before I really up the humidity, since it's already at 30% for a dry incubation...
