sounds like your little house bird is a tough little cookie...enduring a toss out and still hatching...being raised up alone...etc...of course she's going to protect you, you are her only friend and she never has had the chance to really learn how to live with other birds...I'd work on it in teeny tiny baby steps and let her take a few pecks as well as give a few...and I bet in a matter of a week or so, she'll have some new best friends!!!
