Oh oh I'm in trouble, need rabbit advice!

Heck, we bought a boy bunny. So we thought. 28 days later we had a kindling doe, and didn't know what the bleep was going on!!

Needless to say we lost the babies...

Course my flemish were a bit more than spoiled lol, mine had 4 ft round pens on a cement floor,but then again with a 60 ft long garage it was very easy to spoil the big lugs.
Course it kinda spoiled me also, with deep hay bedding on a floor there were fewer nail trimmings as the floor gave them a way to naturally reduce the nails, not so much wrestling a big goofball of a rabbit.

If the breeder wasshifty about age go with the youngest age, that way you know it will be safer for the rabbit come breeding time.
rule of thumb with flemish, 8 Months old or 14 lbs. anything younger or lighter is not choice for breeding.

To be honest i'm not even sure if she is pure Flemish her color is wrong and she seems small(but then again its hard to tell when you don't know her real age). The women I bought her from had all different breeds many with pedigrees. But this girl didn't have one and she was the only "flemish" she had. I have 2 flemish that are flemish and she is even built a little different. But she was the last rabbit left and the woman was practically giving her away and as these guys are pets, her being purebred was sort of unimportant to us. She is a real sweety and I'm not sure if we will breed her at all. I have pure flemish if I want litters theres no point breeding large cross breeds unless perhaps I bred her to a californian or a new zealand, perhaps that resulting offspring would be okay meat rabbits.
