Well, I went into town to stock up for my chickens & horses. 2 bales of alfalfa, 50 lb bag of cob, & 2 50lb bags of scratch n peck layer. They were out of scratch n peck! Ok, what crumbles do you have? What?? None?? Only pellets?? Boy, are my chickens ticked. They looked at those pellets & said, "No thank you." They won't have any scratch n peck in until Monday. DO NOT WAIT UNTIL YOU ARE OUT TO BUY FOOD! Never again.

Try wetting it. My girls never turn down their special "porridge". If they only knew it's just their regular pellets with enough warm water to make a mash they'd probably be offended. But they'd still eat it up because they love it wet.

Soak it in some (warm) water.
